Assist in the review of all client files in respect of KYC/AML. In particular with respect of on-boarding Chinese and Hong Kong clients
Assist in the approval of new clients and regularly review existing clients
Carry out CDD and EDD where required by the compliance policy
Ensure compliance's processes and policies are followed by staff
Notify compliance of any proposed issues concerning on-boarding and account opening
Provide assistance to salaes and management regarding on-boarding
Provide ad-hoc responses on specific enquiries
Carry out transaction monitoring on sales staff as well as complete transaction reviews to ensure it meets with regulatory and firm policy
Produce relevant management information
Assist in the improvement of the operational systems and processes
Fluent Mandarin/ Chinese (verbal and written)
Solid KYC/AML knowledge
Strong organisational skills
Excellent IT skills
Accuracy and attention to detail
Broad understanding of the FCA handbook
Prior experience in a FCA regulated or preferably a Stockbroking Firm
Prior experience in transaction monitoring
Matching and posting invoices to Sage line 50
Deal with on-line banking activities including preparing payment templates
Chasing for missing invoices and recording them when received and filing;
Reconciliation of monthly account suppliers statements
International bank reconciliations
Posting payments in the appropriate bank accounts
Reconciling petty cash
Preparing reports in Chinese for head office requirements;
Assisting with secretarial matters and report preparations.
The client is looking to interview next week and have someone start as soon as possible so candidates available on short notice would be preferred.

Assisting senior management on daily administrative tasks
PA to senior management, managing senior management calendar, help preparing meeting materials, booking transportation and hotels.
Assistant senior management in meeting translation and interpretation between Chinese and English
Taking minutes of meeting and draft reports.
Liaising with HQ, assisting delivering HQ requirement to UK office
Assisting HR manager in local hiring and recruitment related activities.
