Introduction: It is estimated that by the year 2025, there will be 1 ton of plastic in our oceans for every 3 tons of fish! Ocean pollution is a serious problem, even more so considering that today over 3.5 billion people depend on the ocean for their primary source of food. In 20 years, that number is expected to double. So what does this all mean for the seafood you eat? Come help celebrate World Oceans Day with us by learning more about the health of our oceans and the risk ocean pollution creates for the seafood that ends up on our dinner plate.

3rd Floor American Culture Corner: Public Benefits Corporations
Introduction：This monthly conversation circle will give young adults (roughly aged 18 to 35) the opportunity to learn more about American culture. It will cover a different topic every month and the topic for June is “Public Benefits Corporations.” Come learn more and discuss this new model for private industry being pioneered primarily by America’s socially-conscious young adults! This is a great opportunity for you to practice your English—intermediate to advanced English speakers are welcome!
