Located in the western United States, Utah has a population of nearly 3 million, approximately 80% of whom live near the state’s capital Salt Lake City. Utah is the 10th least densely populated of the 50 United States and was claimed as “the best state to live in” by a 2012 Gallup national survey. As a center of transportation, tourism, information technology, research and mining in western U.S., Utah is also rich in education resources.
