The Role

We are developing the World’s first international mentoring app for business owners globally and looking for a Business Development Manager to help expand its operations into China as being one of our key markets.

Responsibilities Include

• The role will include contacting existing and new Chinese and UK-Chinese based organisations with large Chinese Business owner networks and convert those clients as users to the new international mentoring app

• The candidate will provide key input into Business development strategies and be able to conduct market intelligence activities. He/ She should be able to work with Senior Managers in other departments of the company as well as liaise and work closely with the Marketing and PR teams

• The candidate will be required to produce analytical and audit reports on the market and international relationships and client engagement

• Account Management duties including development of our client relationships as well as development of new business from existing clients and new clients

• The candidate will be responsible for recruitment and training of junior China desk staff

• The role will include development of sales strategies and involvement in setting sales targets in line with company’s overall targets

• The candidate will identify new methods and opportunities for marketing campaigns and will be involved in promotional activities

skills And Experience

• Previous experience and contacts in the Chinese and UK start up and SME business market

• Educated to at least a Degree Level

• Fluent in both Mandarin and English

• Excellent written and spoken communication skills

• Excellent people management skills

• Excellent interpersonal skills
