Minnesota is known as the land of 10,000 lakes, and four of the most famous ones are at Voyageurs National Park. The park contains more than 344 square miles of pristine water that’s only accessible by boat. The waters of Voyageurs offer excellent opportunities for fishing, and are home to Walleye and Largemouth bass, among types of fish. Rising out of the water are formations of giant rocks, some of which are half as old as the world itself. You can take a daytrip, or spend the night at one of 175 campsites the park contains.
