This program will be conducted in English.

In the United States, the criminal justice system faces an increasing challenge with mentally ill defendants, especially those who are deemed legally insane or who need intensive treatment for mental illness while incarcerated.  China also faces a similar challenge with criminal offenders who have serious mental health issues and may be unable to understand the Chinese criminal justice system due to their mental limitations.  Come hear from two U.S. lawyer experts who are familiar with the topic of mentally ill offenders involved in the U.S. criminal justice system.

This program is not suitable for children under 6.
