西南美商会应邀参加第四届绵阳科博会|AmCham Visits Mianyang for High-Tech Expo,西南美国商会微信公众号文章

2016年9月22日，西南美国商会应绵阳投资促进局邀请，参加了第四届中国(绵阳)科技城国际科技博览会。出席此次博览会的美商会代表团包括美商会理事会成员，通用电气中国区副总裁马加宁先生，美国依欧格资源公司中国区总经理Andrew Pfaff先生，瑞美（中国）热水器有限公司中国区总经理Eric Tsui先生，美商会会员企业仲量联行、毕马威、北京世邦魏理仕物业管理服务有限公司、成都丰德奥克伍德华庭酒店公寓等首席代表以及美商会工作人员。

On September 22nd 2016, AmCham Southwest member companies and staff were invited by Mianyang Investment and Promotion Bureau to attend the The 4rd China (Mianyang) Science&Technology City International High-Tech Expo. AmCham’s delegation included three Amcham’s BOG members Mr. Joseph Ma, vice president of General Electric China, Mr. Andrew Pfaff, country manager of EOG Resources China Ltd., and Mr. Eric Tsui, general manager of Rheem(China)Water Heater Co., Ltd.; and other CEOs of AmCham member companies.

22日下午，绵阳市市长刘超先生会见了美商会代表团，在会谈中刘超市长对绵阳的投资环境、优势、政策支持等方面进行了概括性的介绍，美商会理事会成员马加宁先生代表西南美商会对绵阳市政府长期以来的支持表达了感谢，并期待未来长期友好合作。在接下来的投资推介会上，绵阳市长首先推介了绵阳投资环境，介绍了先进制造业、现代服务业等产业发展领域，以及交通、城建、水利等基础设施建设领域情况。他说，绵阳是一座具有独特优势的城市，战略地位重要、科技资源富集、产业基础坚实、开放优势明显、政策体系完备、人居环境优良，是中国中西部地区同类城市中创业环境最优、人居环境最佳、综合竞争力最强的区域中心城市之一。接下来各市州政府代表分别对成都经济区，川南经济区，川东北经济区，攀西经济区四大经济区作了投资推介。

In the afternoon, Mr. Liu Chao, mayor of Mianyang Municipal Government, met with AmCham delegation. During the meeting, Mr. Liu gave a brief introduction of the city’s investment environment, advantages and policy support. One behalf of AmCham, Mr. Joseph Ma expressed his sincere thanks to Mianyang Municipal Government for their long-standing support and looks forward to future cooperation. In the following investment introduction conference, Mr. Liu informed the delegation on Mianyang’s situation in detail, including its investment environment, the development of an advanced manufacturing industry and modern service industry; and the city’s transportation, construction, and water conservancy. Mr. Liu mentioned that Mianyang is a city of enormous unique advantages, reflecting on its important strategic position, abundant technological resources, solid industrial base, distinct open advantages, comprehensive policy system and excellent living standards. It is the one of the regional central cities with best investment environment, living environment and strongest comprehensive competitiveness among the similar cities in the middle western areas of China. After the introduction of the Mr. Liu about Mianyang city, the representatives form other municipal governments introduced the investment situations of Chengdu Economic Region, South Sichuan Economic Region, Northeastern Sichun Economic Region and Panxi Economic Region.
