你知道中国有两亿3千万人有心血管疾病吗？你知道中国每5个人中就有1个人是死于心脏病或中风吗？你该怎样做才能降低得心脏病的风险？

欢迎来北京美国中心，来自美国疾病预防控制中心（CDC）预防心脏病科的副主任将和大家一起讨论关于美国近期心脏病和中风的趋势，包括这些疾病造成死亡的原因。另外，演讲嘉宾还将介绍疾病预防控制中心是如何开展其特殊项目包括百万心脏倡议，来提高心血管健康的。

This program will be offered in both Chinese and English.

Do you know that about 230 million people in China have cardiovascular disease? Or that about one in every five deaths in China is caused by heart disease or stroke? What can you do to lower your risk of heart disease?

Please join us at the Beijing American Center, where the Associate Director for Science at the Division for Heart Disease and Stroke Prevention at the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) will discuss recent trends regarding heart disease and stroke in the U.S, including the reasons behind the trends of deaths caused by those diseases. In addition, the speaker will explain how the CDC has created specific projects, including the Million Hearts® Initiative, to improve cardiovascular health.
