On the morning of 17th December, the newly-appointed U.S. Consul General Raymond Greene had breakfast meeting with AmCham Southwest Chairman Benjamin Wang, AmCham Southwest Chongqing Organizing Committee Chairman, Briggs & Stratton General Manager Mr. Glenn Weng, AmCham Southwest Chongqing Organizing Committee member, InterContinental Chongqing General Manager Ms. Sharon Fraser and AmCham member, PricewaterhouseCoopers Senior Tax Manager Mr. Alex Wei in InterContinental Chonging.

12 月17日周三上午，美国驻成都总领事馆新任总领事谷立言先生(Raymond Greene)与西南美国商会会长王晓东先生，美商会重庆执行委员会主席，百利通重庆总经理翁光玲先生，美商会重庆执行委员会理事，重庆洲际酒店总经理 Sharon Fraser女士以及美商会会员企业重庆普华永道高级税务经理魏韦先生在重庆洲际酒店共进早餐。

During the breakfast meeting, Mr.Greene and AmCham Board of Governors had a broad and in-depth exchange of views on many issues including business environment in Chongqing, operating challenges and solutions and some preferential policies for multinational companies.

早餐会期间，总领事谷立言先生和美商会理事会代表就在渝美资企业的经营状况，目前所面临的挑战与解决方案以及重庆市政府对外企的优惠政策和税收政策等进行了广泛而深入地交流。

Besides, Mr.Greene also visited AmCham’s member companies, Ford and Hp, as well as Chongqing Liangjiang New Area and Chongqing Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affair Office. Mr.Greene indicated that more visits to Chongqing like this would be worth of expectation in the future.

此外，谷立言先生一行还专程走访了美商会的会员企业福特和惠普，以及两江新区和重庆市人民政府外事侨务办公室。谷立言先生表示计划每年会多次来渝访问。
