Location! Location!Among all the factors you need to consider when choosing a U.S. college, location is no doubt one of the most important things you should keep in mind. EducationUSA China is hosting a series of lectures, introducing each of the 50 states as your study abroad destination. In this lecture, we will walk you into New Jersey State. New Jersey State is also called the “Garden State”. It is the fourth smallest state in size but its GDP is the eighth in the nation. In regard to higher education, there is Princeton University as one of the top U.S. private universities, and their public school system also ranks at the top of all fifty U.S. states. EducationUSA is honored to invite Dr. Jon Stauff, an admission officer of the College of New Jersey, to share with us his hometown state. His presentation will cover the education, economics, history and culture of New Jersey State. 演讲者Jon Stauff is Senior International Officer and Director of the Center for Global Engagement at The College of New Jersey (BA, College of William & Mary/PhD SUNY-Buffalo). A modern European historian, Stauff was Professor of History at St. Ambrose University and has taught at the University at Buffalo, Radford University, and TCNJ. He has 20 years of experience in various aspects of international education administration. He has developed short and long-term study abroad programs throughout Europe, Latin America, and Asia/Pacific Rim for undergraduate and graduate students and managed all types of education abroad operations as well as services for international students and scholars. Stauff has received funding for a number of initiatives from the German Academic Exchange Service, several Fulbright programs, the US Department of Education Business and International Education Program, and the state humanities councils of Iowa and New Jersey.
