佩里·毕曼是一位多次获奖的多媒体记者和环境报道培训专家，从业三十五年来一直以美国国内及国际上的环境问题为报道的主要方向。他曾是美国环境记者协会的主席，并担任该协会董事会成员达八年之久。
毕曼目前在美国中西部的一家杂志出版社，商业出版公司工作，是该社的资深作者，文章内容涵盖环境、农业、能源、技术、创新和经济发展等方面。此前，他曾长期在中西部知名报纸，得梅因纪事报工作，对环境问题进行报道。哈佛大学和亚利桑那州立大学的出版物曾发表过他的作品，今日美国、搜索引擎日报以及许多网站都刊登过他的报道。
毕曼曾在美国国内及伯利兹、巴拿马和墨西哥等国为报道环境问题的记者举办研讨会，期间还曾与国际记者中心合作。他也曾组织和出席过许多以重大环境事务为主题的研讨活动并发言。此外，他还曾经在华盛顿特区、麻省伍兹霍尔的海洋生物学实验室、伍德-罗·威尔逊国际学者中心、国际报道计划（位于华盛顿特区和卢旺达）以及宾州匹兹堡的卡耐基·梅伦大学从事研究工作。他还获得过由美国海外记者俱乐部、美国环境记者协会、北美农业记者会以及美国商业编辑和作者协会等机构颁发的多个重要奖项。
Perry Beeman is an award-winningmultimedia journalist and trainer who has reported on environmental issues inthe United States and other countries for 35 years. He served as president ofthe U.S.-based Society of Environmental Journalists and was a board member for eightyears.
Beeman currently is asenior writer at Business Publications Corp., a magazine publisher in theAmerican Midwest, where he covers the environment, agriculture, energy,technology, innovation and economic development. He previously was the long-timeenvironmental reporter at The Des Moines Register in the same region. His workalso has appeared in publications at Harvard University, Arizona StateUniversity and in USA Today, SEJournal and on numerous websites.
Beeman has conductedseminars for environmental journalists in Belize, Panama, Mexico and the UnitedStates, including work with the International Center for Journalists. He alsohas organized and appeared on many panels that addressed key environmentalissues. In addition, he served as a fellow in Washington, D.C.; at the MarineBiological Laboratory in Woods Hole, Massachusetts; the Woodrow WilsonInternational Center for Scholars; the International Reporting Project (inWashington, D.C. and Rwanda); and Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh,Pennsylvania. He has won major awards from the Overseas Press Club of America,the Societyof Environmental Journalists, North American Agricultural Journalists, and theSociety of American Business Editors and Writers.
