Overview

The company has locations in London, China, California and Australia. This position will be based in West London.

The role will report directly into the Financial Manager. The role will incorporate a broad range of duties and offer scope for both career and skilldevelopment.

Primary Duties

• Process invoices, reconciling delivery notes to invoices received and purchase orders

• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements

• Assist in the preparation of purchase summaries

• Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger

• Preparation of VAT Returns

• Management of Petty Cash

• Process and record business expense returns

• Processing BACS and other bank payments for final authorisation

• Processing international bank transfers between Flashbay foreign currency accounts

• Assist with resolution of Customer queries

• Support Sales Staff to grow business

• Assist in the preparation and input of the payroll including commission and deductions

• Preparing payroll statutory returns

• Other adhoc tasks and project work

Skills / Knowledge / Experience

• A self-starter with previous experience supporting an Accounts department at Assistant / Administrative level 

• Experience in managing an ERP system would be a distinct advantage 

• Fluency in Mandarin, although not essential

• Experience of preparing VAT returns a bonus
