Job Description

 

We are now looking to recruit a New Business Developer for our Corporate Services Department based in our head office in Wimbledon.

The purpose of the role is to generate a pipeline of qualified corporate applicants who are based in China (or other relevant Far East markets) and planning to relocate to areas covered by a Kinleigh Folkard and Hayward (KFH) branch network. You will achieve this by developing long term, productive relationships with companies and organisations in China (and other relevant Far East markets) who wish to relocate either their employees or their clients to London. Your role is to supply any qualified leads you receive to our branch network so they may be converted into new business. You will need to consistently meet and exceed the KPI’s assigned to your role.

The role will involve; making contact and building productive relations with organisations, establishing the needs and the budget of the applicant, following up on referrals, using the RADAR system to records all activities, delivering high levels of customer service to build the reputation of the department to increase the level of repeat business, identifying opportunities to build new business, promoting Corporate Services as well has addition KFH services, Overseeing the KFH Weibo page with the latest translated blogs and articles and supplying relevant marketing material which promotes the service provided, attending company and external networking events as well as new branch launches and manager meetings and providing training and coaching to branch personnel on the service proposition.


We are looking for someone who has


  • A track record of success in a similar sales/business development role, ideally within the corporate services function of a residential lettings agent


  • Is fluent at speaking and writing Mandarin and Cantonese and able to translate English accurately


  • Experience in a negotiator role


  • Experience of cold calling


  • Achieved NFoPP Level 2 Award in Introduction to Residential Property Management Practice or is working towards it


  • IT literate – Microsoft Office and preferably experienced in using a relevant CRM system


  • Effective communication both verbally and in writing and is able to confidently deliver presentations to senior level audiences where required
