昨天悉尼举办了一个留学行业论坛，很多澳洲著名大学和相关产业的专业人士到场，澳学集团黄文勇老师作为中介机构代表出席了会议并且上台就大学如何和中介机构合作参与了交流！
开场主讲的伍伦贡大学副校长Alex犀利的指出，目前澳洲大学嫌弃中国留学生太多，转而花冤枉钱去其他地方招生的多元化政策其实是一种误区，完全是浪费机会和盈利增长！
他的理由是，多元化招生地方只是中国影响力不到的地方才有意义！因为中国经济如果下行，多元化从其他地方招生弥补才有意义，可是因为目前主要留学来源国经济都和中国经济息息相关，中国经济不好了，这些地方也好不到哪里去！盲目多元化很可能花了很多钱却找不到合适的生源，因为中国经济影响不到的国家地区，基本上已经被英美抢占了市场，所以盲目对中国市场设置限制，反而把中国大市场拱手让人！
他指出英国退欧和美国新总统上台都是对澳洲非常有利的，同时中国留学生出国比例目前不到2%，和美国19%学生出国距离遥远，空间依然很大！
按照目前年均5.5%增长率，如果汇率稳定，澳大利亚10年内可以把留学生数量飙升到50万，2050年飙升到99.9万！

Australia is entering a "golden age" of international recruitment that could see 500,000 students enrolled in universities in a decade’s time.
The low dollar and troubles afoot for both the US and Britain bode well for a decade of growth, a conference heard on Monday.
But the widely held belief Australian universities should diversify away from China is misguided and could undermine growth and profitability, said Alex Frino, deputy vice-chancellor (international) at the University of Wollongong.
"Many universities have a student diversification policy," Professor Frino said.
"My view is that it is pointless diversifying away from China for business reasons because the economic prosperity of most countries that send students to us are tied to China.
"If the Chinese economy tanks, and the number of students China sends us falls, so will the number of students from other countries. Diversification only makes sense if we source from countries whose economies are not related to China."
Despite this, and the fact those regions tended to be well serviced by both the US and Britain, Professor Frino said he was firmly of the view Australia was entering a golden age of recruitment of international students.
