#Traveling Around the U.S. – Site of the Week: Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Site

Vermont is known for its scenic mountains, some of the best are at Marsh-Billings-Rockefeller National Historic Site. Started more than a century ago as a preserved forest and dairy farm by railroad magnate Frederick Billings, the park is one of the most celebrated forests in the United States.

In the winter the rolling hills of the park offer ample opportunities for cross country skiing and snowshoeing. The park also offers workshops to help visitors identify the various different trees in the park. You can glide through the park seeing how many you can recognize. How are you at identifying trees?
