The department

Our team of business services staff play a significant role in the success of Dentons, and we recruit staff into a wide variety of areas. Here, we look for focused, flexible individuals from a variety of backgrounds who are team players. Previous experience within the legal sector is not essential. We want to give everyone the opportunity to develop his or her potential fully and, therefore, provide support, training and encouragement to members of staff at all levels.



Purpose of role

A pioneering role in the world's largest law firm.  You will be responsible for helping to build a global key account program that integrates with regional and in country key client programs.  You will need to deliver the infrastructure, insight, guidance and support that partners and regional leadership need to develop their key client relationships.  You must be able to think strategically and commercially and deploy tactically with regard to the infrastructure you will need to build to deliver growth in client revenues. Critically, you must be able to inspire others with your enthusiasm, passion and dedication to the client program and our firm goals. 




Responsibilities

To develop an infrastructure that supports the growth of the key client program, this is likely to include:


·Best practice in planning, contact matrices, market analysis/intelligence, added value offering, bid proposition for clients in global panel arrangements, client feedback


·Use of CRM systems in key client relationships


·Support client listening initiative in support of the key client program


·Supporting appropriate accountability processes


·Product analysis – how to match the services we have to our key clients


·Where dedicated key client resource is not available, providing training/support/insight/infrastructure to enable lawyers and others to provide key account management 'lite' support


·To support the selection and evaluation of clients for key account programs


·To create appropriate documentation and ensure availability via the global portal


·To develop appropriate mechanisms whereby centrally generated thought leadership is used to enhance our brand and levels of engagement with key clients


·To deliver 'town hall' program to draw together the global key client community


·To devise reporting metrics to evaluate success of overall program


·To work with existing team members and partners to leverage ideas across regions– including best practices in client reporting, client-specific newsletters, training and event schedules and offerings, Dentons Direct (our extranet platform that brings together knowledge, precedents, events, deal room access, key document identification, KPI/financial information, relationship insights)






Skills

·Strong client relationship management experience in a law firm or professional services environment


·Familiarity with client listening/feedback surveys and methodology


·Financially astute and able to adapt service delivery models to improve profitability


·Culturally sensitive


·Strong client service ethos


·Must be able to demonstrate strong creativity and project management skills


·Must work well under pressure


·Strong management and people skills


·Excellent writing skills and attention to detail


·Track record in delivering revenue growth
