由联合利华饮食策划冠名赞助的2017年美国商会（成都）独立日嘉年华千人盛典于2017年7月2日周日在美商会会员公司成都哈雷戴维森阳光草坪盛大举行。独立日庆典是美商会年度最大最具影响力、以及最高商务层面的国际盛会，出席此次庆典活动的来宾包括美国驻成都总领事馆总领事谷立言先生及官员、美商会理事会成员、会员企业代表、500强企业CEO和高管、外籍商务人士和驻蓉外国领事机构、当地政府官员及其家人、朋友等近1300名嘉宾。
The 2017 AmCham Independence Day Charity Celebration, with Unilever Food Solutions as the title sponsor, was hosted by AmCham Southwest on Sunday, July 2nd, at the back lawn of Harley Davidson. As the largest and most influential event held annual by AmCham, there were around 1,300 attendees, ranging from officials from the Consulate General of the United States in Chengdu, AmCham’s Board of Governors, AmCham members, to CEOs and managers from Fortune 500 Enterprises, officials from foreign consulates and local governments, as well as their friends and families that make these events so enjoyable.
这是美商会第13次举办独立日嘉年华盛典庆祝美国成立241周年。美国驻成都总领事馆总领事谷立言先生致辞，对美商会自成立以来同美国总领事馆紧密而融洽的合作表示感谢。中国西南美国商会会长王晓东先生对所有莅临的嘉宾表示热烈欢迎，同时也感谢赞助商和会员们对美商会的大力支持。此次活动冠名赞助商联合利华饮食策划大区业务总监吴靓先生致辞祝大家度过一个愉快的夜晚。
As the United States celebrated its 241st year, AmCham celebrated its 13th Independence Day Charity Celebration. Mr. Raymond Greene, the Consul General of the United States in Chengdu, opened as the first speaker of the evening and expressed thanks to AmCham's close and harmoniosu cooperation. He was followed by Benjamin Wang, the Chairman of AmCham Southwest, who warmly welcomed all guests, thanked the sponsors for their generous support, and explained how the event helps to serve local charities. The last speaker was Leon Wu of Unilever Food Solutions, who closed the opening speeches and wished everyone a wonderful night.
活动当天，60多家赞助商用最饱满的热情迎来上千位嘉宾。数十家五星级酒店、地域风情餐厅及知名酒吧呈上了当季最火热的美味佳肴；数十位舞者们带来了充满异域风情的夏威夷草裙舞、埃及风金翅舞、宝莱坞印度舞、热辣爵士舞以及宫廷古韵的水秀舞和民族风情的战鼓行；水母酒吧激情上演的DJ等共同开启了这样一个狂欢的嘉年华活动。
More than 60 sponsors maintained wonderful attitudes and served our guests wholeheartedly. The five-star hotels and local restaurants provided the wide array of delicious food that the guests enjoyed, and the performance sponsors kept them entertained all night through the many styles of dance featured, including Hawaiian, Egyptian, Indian, Jazz, and Chinese. As an extra touch, a DJ from a local club, Jellyfish, closed the event out with half an hour of live DJing.
本次嘉年华活动打造的美国风情主题公园、变幻莫测魔术表演、奇妙恐龙和变形金刚秀，更是让现场的嘉宾们惊喜不断，纷纷合影留恋。
There were other attractions for the guests to enjoy as well, including a magic show, cute photo backdrops, popular animated guests, such as the Minions, and the crowd’s favorite visiting dinosaur.
由锦江区成龙路扶贫办推荐的八个困难家庭儿童也受邀参加了此次独立日庆典，美商会16年独立日筹集到的善款也将为这一群可爱的孩子们提供为期一年的午餐和生活补助。
The funds raised by AmCham’s 2016 Independence Day Charity Event were presented to the Poverty Relief Office of Chenglong Road, where it will serve to meet the nutritional needs and living costs of 8 children in Chengdu’s Jinjiang district over the next year.
三轮抽奖环节，近100份大奖，从钻石项链、品牌西服套装、豪华五星级酒店房券到iPhone7、成都往返美国机票将此次庆典一次次推向高潮。最后，在绚丽的烟花表演中此次庆典圆满谢幕。
Three rounds of lucky draws and nearly 100 prizes ranging from diamond necklaces, customized suits, luxury hotels room voucher, iPhone7s and round air tickets from Chengdu to US, made the highlight for this event. Then, the Independence Celebration ended in fireworks.
