随着七月的到来，Deakin的新生小伙伴们要开始准备迎接新的大学生活的到来啦，就在下个周一，也就是7月6日，新生们将要迎来大学生活中的第一个important event——Orientation.

所谓Orientation就是国内大学所说的报道啦，不过澳洲学校没有严格意义上的“班级”观念，所以orientation的现场会显得异常拥挤，杂乱不堪。但是新生们不要紧张，小编已为您准备好一份orientation的全方位指南，赶快来看看吧。

International Student Orientation

Orientation is a little bit different for international students in that you will also enrol during the Orientation period. If you are starting at Deakin in Trimester 2, 2015, you should arrive in Australia before Monday 6 July, so that you can attend Orientation Week, the International Student Welcome and enrol in your course.

Attending the Enrolment and Orientation program is essential if you want to make a successful start at Deakin. During the week you will:

• Receive course advice, enrol and sign up for tutorials.

• Get your student ID card, IT and Library access.

• Learn about Deakin and the many services that can help you during your studies.

• Make connections with other new students and join mentor programs and student clubs.

• Meet current Deakin students and hear about their experiences.

The first event students should attend is the International Student Welcome on Monday 6 July.

大家注意咯，Deakin的Orientation顺序是按照同学们的姓氏首字母来排序的，所以大家一定要注意好学校通知各自的时间哦！
