初到新西兰的你住在青年旅舍，隔壁的一个本地人说了句，“Yeah nah bro, I reckon that’s all good, cheap as for a mean as feed like that!”然后你满脸黑线盯着他问，"Sorry, what?" 与此同时旁边的澳大利亚小伙曾经笑晕在床上（那画面太美我不敢看）。
在新西兰生活的你可能会经常遇到新西兰人说着一些压根就没听过的英语，小编今天送上新西兰口语中的高频短语。下次你再遇到新西兰人说上几句俚语，他们肯定觉得你是这个世界上最酷的人。

学新西兰英语并不容易，下面让我们从这简单的20个口语表达走起，以后会越来越容易。

Kiwi – 泛指新西兰人，或者新西兰国鸟。奇异果是kiwifruit。

Jandals 是人字拖的意思，英国小伙伴听到这个词也是蒙蒙的。
当kiwi说:"I'm gonna go to the dairy, you want anything?" 他可不是在说我要去牛奶场。kiwi的dairy通常指便利店，街角商店，或者小超市。
“Chilly bin“冷藏箱”，不是用来装辣椒的桶，主要用来存放冰镇饮料。
Out in the wops前不着村，后不着店，就是in the middle of nowhere.
Macca’s麦当劳，听上去更像是对麦当娜的昵称。
tog是衣服，togs指运动衣，在纽村你说togs就是泳装～
Bonnet你去修车，师傅问你能不能把bonnet打开看看，可不是说让你把帽子打开。bonnet在纽村意为“引擎盖”。
"I have some kiwifruits in the boot." kiwi绝对没有把奇异果放在靴子里，boot意为“后备箱”。

某天室友一脸憔悴的说"I'm buggered..."他可不是被爆菊了，buggered意为“超级累”。
Fizzy drink碳酸饮料
Mince这是“牛肉馅”的意思。
Hot chips和French chips是一个种东西，炸薯条。The French is hot.倒是挺有道理。
Kai
这是毛利语中“食物”的意思。比如新西兰南岛有个地方叫Kaikoura，就是food of koura，koura是龙虾之意。Google搜出来的Kai居然是韩国某明星。
C
“hocka Block相当拥挤”之意，有时候也说chockers。
Pissed室友晚上醉醺醺的回到宿舍说“I'm so pissed, bro."不要慌乱，哥们说他喝多了。
Cuppa：cup of coffee的简称，那我们汉语里一杯咖啡是不是可以说，“一咖”...
Jumper“套头毛衣”，其实这个是英式英语，kiwi也用，JK罗琳曾经在《哈利波特》中提到。
Angus不是传说中的爱神安格斯，也不是安格斯牛，这里指“生气的人”。
Hungus在新西兰和澳洲都意为“饿懵圈的人”，和上面的angus异曲同工。

Bro
在用到“man”, “mate“， ”dude“的地方都可以用”bro“代替。感觉就像我们东北人说“哥们”一样频繁，你可以称呼出租车司机，店员等陌生人，bro。
例句:
Jack: Hey bro how’s it going?
John: I’m all good bro! Did you see Shortland Street last night bro? It was crazy bro!
All good
基本含义就是没问题，一切安好。经常用来回答“Thank you!" 再也不用说饶舌的"You are welcome."了!
例句:
Jack: I thought my car was going to break down but it was all good, thanks for waiting.
John: All good bro.
Sweet as
和all good的意思差不多，典型的新西兰俚语，在Warehouse还可以买到“Sweet as”的室内挂件。
例句:
Jack: Yo, we’re all going to Jen’s house to watch Gossip Girl and eat Toffee Pops. Gotta go gym first but I’ll pick you up at 7?
John: Sweet as (translation: OK).
Faaa
在失望和兴奋的时候都用，根据a的长短来判断说话人到底什么心情。
例句:
If you scratch a lotto ticket and win $2 you might go “Faaa, only $2”, but if you scratched it and won $20,000 you’d probably go “Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa $20,000!”
As
cheap as就是really cheap的意思，大家体会一下。
例句:
John: Bro, check out my new polka dot undies. Got them in Howick for 20 bucks.
Jack: Bro, that’s expensive as! (translation: that’s really f*cking expensive).
Hardout
好几种意思，直接看例子。
1. 用来形容后面的形容词.
例句:
It’s hardout cold today! (translation: It is extremely cold today)
2. 用来表达同意，或者做某事的热情。
例句:
Jack: Bro, this restaurant is awesome as, we should come here every week.
John: Hardout! (translation: yes, we should!)
3. 描述某件事或物精彩。
例句:
John: How was the movie?
Jack: It was hardout, bro! (translation: It was awesome, bro).
4. 描述某人极其聪明，能干，智慧，比如我。
例句:
John: Did you know Ben got 100% in every exam?
Jack: Man, that guy is a hardout! (translation: that guy works really hard).
Not even
表示没门，或者不是真的。
例句：
Jack: Bro, I forgot my wallet. You’ll lend me 20 bucks though eh?
John: Not even! (translation: No, I won't.）
Ow
Michael Jackson经常在歌里用的一个词，OW!和not even连用，你在kiwi圈子里就屌炸天了。
例句：
Jack: Bro, how did you pass that exam, you must have cheated handout!
John: Not even ow! (translation: Get the f**k outa here)
Shot
意思太多，下面只列举经常用到的三个。
1.表示感谢
例句：
Hey bro, can you pass me that jug of water please? Shot. (translation: Thanks)
2.表达喜悦
例句：
John: Bro, Jen got us free VIP tickets for Miley Cyrus tonight!
Jack: Oh shot! (translation: That’s awesome!)
3. 表示鼓励
例句：
John: Hey bro, I finally passed my bikini waxing certification last night. Starting my new job tomorrow!
Jack: Shot bro! (translation: Well done!)

例句：
Jack: I’m hungry bro.
John: Alright, let’s go for a feed. Macca’s?
Reckon
两种含义
1. 表达一个人的意见，“认为”之意
例句：
John: Do you reckon if I buy Jen a box of Pineapple Lumps and then ask her on a date she will say yes?
Jack: Yeah, I reckon! (translation: yes, I think she will).
2. 极其同意某观点
例句：
John: I can’t believe Tom cheated on Jill for the 279th time!
Jack: I reckon! What a dick. (translation: I know! What a dick).
Mean
不是“缺德”的意思，一般表示某事物帅爆了。
例句：
Jack: Did you see that girl in the purple dress last night?
John: Yeah bro that girl was the meanest! (translation: that girl was extremely hot/amazing).
例句：
Jack: Did you like that Olsen twins movie we saw last week?
John: Yeah, it was pretty mean (translation: Yeah, it was quite good).
Heaps
相当多
例句：
Jack: Man, I always see that girl there.
John: Yeah, I’ve seen her heaps too. She goes there heaps bro. (translation: Yeah, I’ve seen her a lot too. She goes there all the time).
Piece of piss
小菜一叠，相当于piece of cake。
例句：
Jack: Hey, I’m about to take my driving test. Is it hard?
John: Nah, piece of piss bro (translation: No, it’s very easy).
Taking the piss
不要和taking a piss（尿尿）整混了，taking the piss是取笑某人的意思。
例句：
Jack: I was gonna go out drinking with you guys tonight, but Jen got mad at me so I’m staying home.
John: What the f**k? Are you taking the piss? (translation: Are you being serious?)
Yeah nah bro
表示明白你说的内容，但是不同意你的观点。or don't realy give a shit.
例句：
Jack: Hey bro, I saw you and Jess go home together last night.
John: Yeah nah bro… how did your night go?
To the days
相当，非常
例句：
Jack: Did you see Tim got drunk again last night?
John: Bro, that guy’s an alcoholic to the days. (translation: That guy’s seriously an alcoholic).
Honest to who?
真的吗？经常说“Honest to G”，可能是“Honest to God"的缩写。
例句:
Jack: Bro, I won like $5,000 at the pokies last night.
John: Honest to who?
Jack: Honest to G O D!
Gizza
“Give us a”的简单说法，实际上是“Give me a”的意思。
例句:
Jack: Faaa, check this out, Jen posted a photo of herself on Instagram in a bikini.
John: Honest to who? Gizza look! (translation: Really? Give me a look!)
Shout
kiwi俚语里请客之意。
例句:
Jack: Bro, I can’t come out tonight, I spent all my money on a pedicure.
John: It’s all good bro, Tim is shouting drinks tonight.
Jack: Shot!
What a sad guy
通常指“一个干了件非常傻缺的事的人”
例句:
Jack: Bro, when Tim was drunk as last night I put $500 of booze on his credit card.
John: What a sad guy!
Chur
这个词是小编的毛利同事教的，在打招呼和说再见的时候用，通常bro也会跟在后面。也有“OK/cool”，“No problem thank you”的意思。
例句:
Jack: Saw you were running low bro so got you another beer.
John: Chur bro! (translation: Thanks man).
