“#StateEducationInAmerica# - This past month, the Embassy’s EducationUSA team has introduced you to 20 different U.S. states to highlight their diversity and education options.  With more than 4,000 accredited colleges and universities to choose from, it can be a challenge to choose the right school and location for you.  We will end our series with Arizona.

Arizona, a southwestern U.S. state, is best known for its beautiful sunny weather and the stunning Grand Canyon. Health care, transportation and government remain the state’s biggest sectors. Phoenix is its capital city and has one of the biggest public universities,  Arizona State University. In addition, Arizona University and Northern Arizona University are the other two public universities that serve the state. Besides public and private higher education institutions, Arizona also has a wide network of two-year vocational schools and community colleges.
