We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and respected Accountancy Practice, based in West London, who are looking for an Audit Supervisor to join their team.
The post-holder will need to be fluent in Mandarin, both spoken and written, and will need to have solid Accountancy Practice experience.

-   Lead client audit engagements, which include the planning, executing, directing and completing of audits, including more complex audits

-   Supervise, train and mentor small teams on all audit processes

-   Research and analyse financial statements and audit related issues

-   Produce statutory accounts and draft tax computations

-   Acquire a working knowledge of the client’s business

-   Obtain a thorough understanding of HAT methodology

-   Monitor the progress of jobs to ensure that budgets are met

-   Sign off audit sections, address any issues and complete files before passing on to relevant managers

-   Draft client letters

-   Proactively interact with key client’s management to gather information, resolve problems and make recommendations for business and process improvements

-   Essential * Fluent in Mandarin - written and oral

-   ACA/ACCA qualified with a demonstrable track record of audit experience in an accountancy practice

-   Excellent technical knowledge of accounting standards, auditing standards, corporation tax, VAT and P11Ds

-   Working knowledge of integrated accounts production and paperless audit software

-   Meticulous attention to detail

-   Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multi-task and complete assignments with multiple clients within time constraints and deadlines

-   Demonstrable experience of supervising other and delegation of work

-   Confident project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills

-   Working knowledge of Caseware, Sage, Quickbooks, Xero, Alphatax and CCH

-   Working knowledge of HAT audit methodology
