Contracts for postgraduate students allocated to campus halls start on Saturday 21st September, and this is the earliest date that they can arrive on the campus.

What happens on arrivals weekend?

When you are allocated to your accommodation you will be emailed details on how to accept and authorise your accommodation contract online. Once your online contract has been authorised, you will then be able to view and print out the specific arrival arrangements for your hall. In general, undergraduate arrivals are split over two days depending on your surname. For the 2013/2014 academic year surnames from A - L can arrive on Saturday 28th September 2013 and M - Z on Sunday 29th September 2013. You can arrive between 9.30am and 4:30pm. This is to ease traffic congestion on campus over arrivals weekend.

Where do I collect my keys?

If you are arriving between 9.30am and 4:30pm on arrivals weekends, your campus room keys can be collected from the designated points within your hall of residence as detailed in the online arrival instructions which students can view once they have authorised their online accommodation contracts.

If you arrive after 4:30pm but before 11pm, your keys can be collected from the Student Accommodation Reception in Senate House (ground floor reception desk in building number 56 on the campus map).

If you are moving to your campus room after the arrivals weekend, your keys can be collected from the Student Accommodation Reception in Senate house during the normal open hours. Please note that if you are intending to arrive later than Wednesday 3rd October, you should email [email protected] so that your room will continue to be held for you.

If you will be arriving when the Student Accommodation Reception in Senate House is closed, please email [email protected] well in advance of your arrival so that alternative arrangements can be made for you to collect your from Security.
