这种惨痛的经历后,两人合著了一本书,名为“Somewhere Inside: One Sister's Captivity in North Korea and the Other's Fight to Bring Her Home(一个妹妹在朝鲜的囚禁和另一个为带她回家的斗争)。

At the young age of 25, Chinese-American reporter Lisa Ling was already reporting from 25 countries as a senior war correspondent!

Since then, she has become a mainstream American reporter, working on popular daytime talk show The View, and then moving on to have her own shows offering new perspectives on different corners of the United States and the world.

In 2009 her younger sister was detained by the North Korean government and only released after a visit from former President Bill Clinton.

After such a harrowing experience, the two co-authored a book titled Somewhere Inside: One Sister's Captivity in North Korea and the Other's Fight to Bring Her Home.

She is a dedicated journalist, offering new perspectives to old issues.
