The Role

Working closely with a supportive and knowledgeable account manager, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of market insight, information and solutions for a portfolio of blue chip clients.

Processing, manipulating and interpreting various data sources you will work with a range of accounts, eventually becoming an expert in your customer’s businesses and helping succeed with their sales and marketing activities in the “out of home” market.

Initially office based you will be regularly interacting with your clients and will attend face to face meetings with key decision makers, supporting the relevant account manager or director enabling you to develop the commercial awareness needed to progress within the company.

Minimum of 2:1 Ideally in a research related degree

Proven interest in research and its application to business challenges

Calm and thrives in a pressured environment and is accustomed to meeting deadlines and working on multiple projects concurrently

Genuine desire to deliver exceptional customer service.

Highly organised individual with excellent time management skills

Positive, pragmatic and does not need micro managing

Detail focussed with strong completer/finisher traits. Passionate and Conscientious worker who takes pride in their work

Has interest, passion or knowledge of bars, pubs, drinks and the people who drink them


Job Requirements

Graduated and available to start immediately

Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office

Knowledge of data manipulation tools such as SPSS would be an advantage

Knowledge of statistical analysis techniques would be an advantage

Must be able to work with and manipulate large amounts of data

Experience of market research techniques and methodology would be an advantage

Exceptional analytical skills

Good standard of presentation skills, both written and verbal

Strong literacy and numeracy skills

Comfortable working with and interpreting various sources of information and deriving own conclusions

Accepted degree subjects

An exciting new opportunity has arisen to work as an Assistant Secretary within a global financial institute. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to allocated managers and other support staff in the team as and when required.



Making hotel/travel arrangements, itineraries and arranging visas, renewing passports as required to ensure travel arrangements run smoothly

Making training and conference bookings and maintaining their register

Managing the organisation of meetings with potential investors

Processing consultancy contracts/ legal documentation and liaising with consultants, and outside lawyers as directed by manager

Provide secretarial cover during absences and provide handover notes to ensure a smooth transition

Handling Managers’ expense claims relating to travel, hospitality, following up on reimbursement and monitoring corporate card bills to ensure all costs are recovered in a timely manner

Providing assistance to build and maintain a prospective investor database including new contact details

Building and managing the necessary logs for investor deliverables, investor requests and information shared

Assist in responding to external advisor data requests and to internal information requests

Assist in putting together and printing of the relevant and updated information packs that may be needed

Screening Managers’ and colleagues’ telephone calls; responding to and dealing with external queries; passing on calls to other members of the department as appropriate to ensure appropriate action are taken for any calls

Maintain comprehensive filing in various hard copy and electronic systems and archiving for Managers’/team to ensure instant retrieval of documents

Managing diaries, arranging internal and external meetings and conference calls, receiving visitors ensuring that each meeting is seamlessly executed

Events – organising investor and signing events on behalf of the Managers at the Headquarters or during Annual Meetings, ensuring that any event is well organised and that any issues arising are resolved in a timely way


Skills include:

Previous secretarial and administrative experience on a 1:1 level is essential

Knowledge of Korean or Chinese Mandarin both written and spoken is highly favourable

Experience working within Financial Services is essential

Computer literate: Windows XP: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Knowledge of SAP desirable but not essential

At least 55 wpm typing

Good communications skills, including pleasant and efficient telephone manner

Attention to detail and eye for accuracy is critical

Ability to cope well under pressure

Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and colleagues in a multicultural environment

Strong team player

Willing to work overtime as and when required, at short notice
