Did you know that, for the past few years, the video game industry has made over twice as much money as the movie industry? By 2017, the global video game industry is expected to be worth more than $100 billion, with mobile phone gaming a major reason for this explosion. Where did video games come from, and how has the gaming industry changed over the past few decades? Are you interested in developing or marketing video games, and want to better understand the challenges and opportunities?
Please join us at the Beijing American Center, where a CEO and co-founder of a video game start-up, who was formerly General Manager of Electronic Arts’ Beijing studio, will give an overview of the history of the gaming industry and America’s role in it. He will also discuss the key players in the game industry and the differences between the American and Chinese video game markets.
