此活动将用普通话进行。

作为美国司法部驻中国代表，郭子俊两年间走访了中国的24个省，会见中国检察官、法官、律师和法律专业的学生，和他们谈论关于美国的法律体系。此外，他还应中国执法部门的需求在刑事领域进行双边合作。

快来听听郭子俊工作和旅行中的感想吧。在任期内，什么是他最大的收获？最大的惊喜？美国检察官和他们的中国同行以及美国律师和中国同事之间的主要的相似性和区别是什么？这位纽约人怎么看北京的生活？

This program will be offered in Mandarin.

As the U.S. Department of Justice's representative in China, Steve Kwok （郭子俊） has spent the last two years traveling to 24 provinces in China, meeting with Chinese prosecutors, judges, lawyers, and law students, and talking to them about the American legal system. In addition, he has collaborated with Chinese law enforcement authorities on criminal matters requiring bilateral cooperation.

Come listen to Steve discuss his observations from his work and travels. What were his greatest rewards during his tenure? Biggest surprises? What are some of the major similarities and differences between American prosecutors and their Chinese counterparts, and between American lawyers and their Chinese colleagues? What does this former New Yorker think about living in Beijing?

Steve will be joined by defense attorney Zhang Qingsong of the Shangquan law firm (尚权律师事务所). This will be Steve’s final program at the Beijing American Center!
