The Opportunity

An additional role being created by expansion with this market leading, award winning online services company. Collation, analysis & interpretation of large data setsis a vital element in their business, driving customer insight & helping to shape decision making across many departments within the company including finance, acquisition marketing & CRM. Whilst UK based, this role will involve working closely with the company's office in Taiwan on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Reporting to & working with the Head of Finance & Commerce, you will be responsible for a wide range of mathematical & data analysis tasks, using experience & initiative to design & develop algorithms to extract meaningful insight from a variety of data sources. You will build & maintain statistical models & conduct analysis & modelling to uncover hidden trends & opportunities to deliver new insights to management across the business.

Requirements

There is a degree of flexibility with the experience level sought, but essential skills include data analysis experience & microsoft excel. Fluency in both English & Mandarin will be required for this role. You will be a champion for the use of data to drive business decision making, and thoroughly enjoy analysing data & discovering new trends & insights. Ideally you will have direct experience of a wide range of data analysis in a consumer driven business, but equal consideration will be given to business to business experience with large & constantly evolving data sets. You will need to be comfortable with presenting your findings & analysis to less mathematically minded colleagues and helping them to clearly understand in order to influence business decisions.

This could be an ideal role for a Graduate with a year's work experience (this could even be part of your degree course), or a more experienced Analyst looking for a move to a fast paced environment with a strong reliance on the quality of data analysis.
