The Opportunity

Our client is a London based multimedia company delivering engaging Chinese related culture, lifestyle, entertainment and knowledge to the UK’s English speaking audience via TV, digital publishing, online, and live events.
They are looking to develop the sales function of the business by recruiting enthusiastic individuals to drive the sales. You’ll be working with the Marketing Manager to generate maximum sales revenue for the business from airtime space, advertising and sponsorship.

The Role

• Identifying new business opportunities

• Building on existing business to generate further sales revenue

• Conduct quality sales and marketing activity online, via email, over the phone and face to face

• Making contactand building relationships with prospects from both warm and cold leads

• Managing clients account

• Working with the Managing Director and Marketing Manager to drive the sales strategy

• Providing weekly reports on sales, marketing and new business activity

You Will

• Preferably have a background in B2B sales and lead generation

• Have excellent telephone and face to face sales skills

• Have a good overall knowledge of general marketing initiatives, social media and various marketing technologies

• Build relationships quickly, demonstrating a friendly and approachable attitude

• Be professional, self-motivated and target driven

• Be comfortable taking ownership and control of your workload and sales pipeline

• Demonstrate effective time management, planning and organisational skills

• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Fluency in Mandarin but this is not essential

• Hold a UK driving license and have access to own transport
