Main Duties & Responsibilities


About the Role

The Digital Marketing Coordinator is responsible for maintaining the Aman presence online and via digital channels. This includes development and enhancement of content for the Aman website, digital and social channels; management of multilingual content (website, PPC campaigns and social channels in China and Japan initially); and management of social media content and user engagement across the brand. Due to the nature of this role, it is essential for all candidates to be fluent in Mandarin Chinese language.



Responsible For Day-to-day Digital Content Management 

  • Execute content updates directly for all Aman websites through the CMS

  • Provide direction to digital creative teams (copywriters, art directors) on content updates

  • Collaborate with property teams to extract content and stories

  • Collaborate with PR team as required to align the website with media messaging

  • Work with digital creative teams and IT on website functionality to improve user experience and conversions

  • Responsible for maintenance of content on the Sabre Guest Connect Booking Engine

  • Develop copy as defined by agency recommendations for SEO optimization and performance

  • Manage Aman online presence for key interest verticals – Celebrations, Real Estate, Wellness, Family

  • Responsible for the launch of Aman ‘exclusives’ (offers) on a weekly basis through digital channels



Manage Day-to-day Social Media Execution For Aman 

  • Develop a social media content plan across social media platforms in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Manager, to drive fan growth & engagement for the Aman brand

  • Manage day-to-day digital listening and monitoring for Aman, including social and other media platforms. Alert team to notable events and respond if required

  • Collaborate with properties to extract and aggregate engaging social content

  • Align with PR teams in liaison with KOLs

  • Manage and monitor non-English social platforms – initial WeChat and Weibo in China



Manage Multilingual Digital Presence For Aman

  • Manage development and updates of website content translations in Chinese and Japanese (current priority languages – others to follow)

  • Manage in-language PPC and digital campaigns

  • Manage social media presence in China (as below)

  • Support Digital Marketing Manager in developing campaign copy/content for PPC in China and Japan (current priority languages – others to follow)

  • Provide support (when required) to CRM Manager for ad-hoc non-English CRM campaigns

  • Actively monitor mentions online via Aman’s media monitoring tool and report violations of Intellectual Property infringements within China



Other Key Collaborations 

  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager on key build projects (e.g. new website functionality or sections) as required

  • Collaborate with CRM Manager to integrate digital and CRM efforts, including but not limited to campaign landing page development and cross-campaign conversion metrics

  • Manage the Travel Trade booking engine – content, user database, reporting

  • Support Digital Marketing Manager in developing campaign copy/content for PPC



Reporting

  • Support the Digital Marketing Manager in devising a suite of digital performance reports to be communicated internally on a weekly or bi-weekly basis

  • Includes PPC campaign, website performance, social media engagement, content performance



Others

  • Govern the use of brand logos and imagery in line with the Aman brand guidelines

  • Conduct market research and competitor analysis within the digital landscape as required



Desired Skills and Experience 

You will already possess a minimum of 1 year of experience in Marketing and experience in luxury brands is preferred.  You must have strong past experience in content strategy and social media management.  You must be able to demonstrate strong project management and organisational skills.  Native Chinese speakers are preferred.
