Job Overview

Working with a team of two Senior FP&A Analysts for our Consumer and International Practice Groups, this position will be responsible for analysis and reporting for the Management Teams, including 3 regional markets in Asia / Pacific, Middle East & Africa and Latin America. Prepare, coordinate, collect, analyze and present results and forecast information to support business decision-making.



Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, structure, monitor, analyze all information data on the performance of the business; Sales &  business development activity, revenues, directcosts, margin, capacity

  • Ensure weekly and monthly reporting and analysis of the results with FP&A Team and provide to senior Leadership of the firm

  • Work with controllership department to ensure accuracy

  • Insure rigorous application of firm policies and report defaults to FP&A team

  • Support codification and formalization of rules and processes, in coordination with firm policies and Management decisions

  • Support the production of ad hoc financial analysis, modelling  and requests as needed to support key findings and strategic plans

  • Support periodic reforecasting of the practice groups results, as well as providing detailed input to the ongoing capacity management modeling

  • Support strategic planning process and related updates

  • Work alongside OW Finance Leadership including, CFO and Global FP&A Head, supporting department initiatives and Oliver Wyman Group lead projects



Experience Required

  • First or upper 2 class Bachelor's Degree

  • Accounting, Marketing , Business or Finance background preferred

  • 1 - 3 years of work experience in a finance department, Analytics team or even direct marketing

  • Skills and Attributes

  • Strongan alytical, organizational and problem solving skills

  • Attention to detail

  • Very good people skills necessary as individual will be emailing / contacting partners / controllers regularly and will interact with Financial Services’ senior management

  • Ability to work as part of a team

  • Effectively communicates with all levels of the organization in a clear and concise manner

  • Ensure compliance with internal security policies and adherence to established company goals, policies, and standards

  • Able to effectively deliver presentations and run meetings succinctly and independently

  • Ability to relate to and work cohesively with a variety of individuals and groups across cross-functional areas and organizational levels



Technical Skills
  • Superior Excel skills -  must be comfortable working with and manipulating large amounts of excel data, including using pivot tables and most basic formulas

  • Expert knowledge of PowerPoint

  • Experience withEssbase databases



Language
  • English fluent

  • Mandarin speaking as a plus
