The Role

There are 3 parts to the role

• The majority of the time as the new International Business manager will be dealing with current distributors across the globe of which there are around 75 currently, the ideal scenario is to have one distributor in each country selling all products

• You will be responsible for supporting your team of three

• You will have two direct reports and one agent based in the USA and will assist them with their distributor network

• Another element of the role will be the new business development side of things, this has reduced though

• You will also be responsible for actually visiting hospitals with the distributors to cement relationships and assist inthe sale and make sure everyone is using the company's products

• Products within the portfolio are Patient warming, brain machines,cooling systems, breathing systems, and consumables and the distributors will be selling into Neonatal departments and ITC (adult theatre)

The Ideal Person

• You will need to come from a medical device / equipment sales background

• You will also need to have sold into international distributor networks within the medical arena

• Being multilingual would be hugely beneficial with Spanish and Mandarin being the preferred languages

• If you have regulatory experience this is also beneficial as it is more tricky outside of the EU so a good understanding of medical regulations would be idea

• You will need to be confident and comfortable making decisions and prioritising importance of work

• If you have mix of clinical and commercial experience would be useful also but not a prerequisite

• Looking for someone who is very organised indeed organised
