Position Description

Reporting to the Regional Director - APAC, you will be managing a selection of key accounts within the APAC region working directly with wholesaler, distribution and franchise business partners. You will confidently manage and support all areas of business within the APAC region; new product development, sales and stock planning, relationship management and marketing.

 

This is a great role that you can make your own and allows you to grow within the business. The role requires someone is a strong team player, who is proactive and has the ability to ensure the business is maximised to the full potential. 



key Responsibilities

Administration

-   Responsible for weekly sales tracking of all APAC accounts and upwards communication of sales, shipments, orders and trade feedback to the team

-   Collate information for the Monthly Management Figures and APAC Report and circulate companywide on a monthly basis

-   Own the repair and exchange tracking for key accounts, respond to all repair and defect queries from partners and follow up and assist with all customer complaints

-   Create, update and circulate training documents ahead of new collection launches and as required. Schedule teams onto relevant training sessions

-   Implement a Mystery Shopper scheme in necessary markets, following up with results and actions to the teams

-   Support the team with admin related tasks.

-   Arrange the delivery of parcels through a courier service or post office


Account Management

-   Be a professional brand ambassador and portray passion and enthusiasm when working with accounts. Strive to build brand loyalty and work closely with accounts to build our business with them

-   Communicate effectively to all of the team and ensure the appropriate management information and communication flows quickly and accurately through the department and across the business

-   Support the Regional Director with development and management of key accounts facilitating growth strategies for each key account in APAC market

-   Champion the implementation of commercial best practices and guidelines within the APAC market

-   Plan and coordinate seasonal market visits and meetings

-   Support new store openings in teh APAC market

-   Follow up on potentially new trade enquiries in the APAC market

-   Provide and support training to the APAC Franchise partners

-   Production of the catalogue and flashcards in the necessary APAC currencies


Stock And Orders

-   Work closely with key accounts in each market to monitor sales and stock movement and suggest regular replenishment and newness orders to drive sales

-   Work with logistic and merchandising teams for back-end follow up: obtain order confirmation and system upload, Invoicing, tracking inbound and outbound shipments. Keeping key account client informed with stock movement

-   Place orders (stock, packaging and POS), send OCs and compile customs documentation for the Wholesale and Franchise partners

-   Remain closely connected to the NPD launch timeline and ensure all accounts are notified in a timely manner about each collection to enable the structure of each buy

-   Ensure that collections are bought to reflect and strengthen our brand, range offering and visual merchandising

-   Communicate quarterly on the Monica Vinader range status updates informing accounts of new product, sell through and discontinuations

-   Maintain the logistic and shipment information and ensure the operation team are informed of changes

-   Responsible for wholesale customer care queries, not limited to orders, special orders, invoices and deliveries


Reporting

-   Ensure there is a strong focus on and reaction to trading figures and sales targets, taking into account a proactive approach to sales 

-   Collect sales forecast from key account clients and co-ordinate information with merchandising team to understand key market trading patterns

-   Push to maintain an appropriate level of sales cover, avoid out of stocks, and avoid over stocking situations

-   Communicate views on current key account trade activity that potentially impacts the brand

-   Supporting Regional Director on quarterly key account P&L analysis, prepare weekly and end of year sales reports, analysis and recommendations

-   Manage and update key account new store lists and timelines in each market and collect and issue sales overview on weekly basis

-   Working closely with key account and obtain local market intel and product feedback

-   Inform management and NPD team on timely matter about certain market / product requirement


Visual Merchandising

-   Work closely with accounts to provide suggestions on visual merchandising and ensure the visual merchandising is taken into account when suggestion new product buys

-   Ensure the visual merchandising standards at the account are maintained and remain in line with our in store retail representation


Marketing

-   Work closely with Regional Marketing Executive to ensure in depth knowledge of all APAC marketing activity

-   Ensure all necessary marketing collateral is briefed in, created and approved in a timely manner

-   Submit all APAC artwork for approval on a weekly basis, gather relevant feedback and share with accounts for amends

-   Monitor and communicate needs for localised collateral and share with UK Marketing team development

-   Manage the ordering process of PR Samples with NPD and the Regional Marketing Executive

-   Proactively organise and manage the twice yearly Franchise Day, working closely with other regions to ensure days are aligned

-   Work closely with the Social Media Manager to ensure localised posts are factored into the calendars


Position Requirements

Key Skills / Qualifications

-   1-2 year of experience in brand / account management

-   A solid commercial awareness and understanding of the wholesale and retail market

-   Good analytical mind and presentation skills

-   Excellent organisation and project management skills and strong attention to detail

-   Capability to organise a busy workload and meet deadlines 

-   Be mature, self-driven with demonstrated ability to work independently in a fast-paced, changing environment

-   Willingness to take on responsibilities outside a defined job scope

-   Ability to maintain good working relationships with colleagues and management

-   Multi-lingual abilities in English, Mandarin, and Korean is preferred

-   Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
