China’s baby and mother product sector is growing by 12.5 per cent per year and is estimated to reach sales of over $US75 billion in 2016. The Shanghai International Children Baby and Maternity Expo (CBME) is an annual trade event for suppliers seeking to establish distribution in China and across Asia. The event has been held annually since 2001. More than 85,111 domestic and international visitors attended the 2016 event, which featured 2,366 exhibitors and 3,673 brands.
Austrade, in coordination with UBM China, will host an Australian National Pavilion at CBME 2017 to showcase Australian products and services that are related to the needs and lifestyles of children, babies and mothers.
