Some believe that studying abroad is beneficial. Do you agree or disagree?

It is generally true that continuing education in another foreign country has become increasingly popular over the years, especially among students from developing countries around the world Despite the fact that this development may bring with it disadvantages, I am overall convinced that the benefits far outweigh drawbacks for both students and their host countries in general.

Introduction需要：

● Paraphrase题目

● 表明对方观点(despite the fact that)和自己观点 (I still believe that)

● 有连贯衔接的词汇 (it is generally true that) (despite the fact that) (I am overall convinced that)

It has to be admitted that studying in another foreign country may bring drawbacks, and one argument in favor of this view can be that this lays a heavy financial burden on the family as a whole. This is because studying abroad may inevitably incur a wide range of costs, which include higher living costs, increasing tuition fees and other related expenditures. For example, studying at the University of Sydney requires higher tuitions, due to the fact that the university needs additional funding for construction. This, certainly, means that students would have to work part-time and parents would have to work harder to support their children’s tertiary education overseas.

让步段：

● PTE考试需要 ‘adequately deal with the prompt’, 建议大家把文章写成双边论证的形式，最好不要写成一边倒 (叫做not address all parts of the task, 因为所有话题都是debatable的)

● 使用大量连接词 (it has to be admitted that, this is because, for example, this certainly means that)

● 四句话：观点 + 说理论证 + 举例论证 + 结论

On the other hand, I feel strongly that receiving education in another foreign country is largely beneficial, because this experience can help us to have a broader view of life. To illustrate, those who have such an opportunity tend to become more independent, which is a very important factor in academic study and research and they are also likely to have better personal resources to draw on. This example makes it clear that they can be well versed in coping with challenges of student life. As a result, these students can have better future prospects, compared to those who study at home, being rather restricted in terms of knowledge and experience of the world.

自己观点段：

● 平衡式写法：自己观点段字数和让步段一致

● 四句话：观点 + 举例论证 + 说理论证 + 结论

● 同样使用连接词：(on the other hand, to illustrate, this example makes it clear that, as a result)

In conclusion, although studying abroad may involve increasingly higher costs which have to be borne by parents and students themselves, I am still of the opinion that this proves advantageous overall. It is well advised that students should seize this precious opportunity and devote themselves to their academic pursuit and parents should properly supervise their children if necessary.
