欢迎各位英语老师参加2017年8月25日由美国驻华大使馆地区英语项目办公室（Regional English Language Office）举办的英语教师沙龙。本次沙龙由Breanna主持。她将围绕《英语教学论坛》期刊的一篇文章再次与大家一起探讨音乐及游戏活动在少儿英语课堂中的运用。此活动免费面向各学段英语教师及教研人员，但需预约。活动限25人，实名注册，报完即止。(已参加8月18日活动的老师请勿重复报名。)

Workshop on: Using Songs andMovement with Young Learners of English

"Children love singingsongs.  They love saying chants in rhythm.  They enjoy repeating phrasesthat rhyme.  They enjoy moving to the rhythm, clapping their hands,tapping their feet, and dancing to the beat.  Music and movement naturallyconnect to children's hearts, minds, and bodies."  Come to thesession "Using Songs and Movement with Young Learners of English" tofind out more about the importance of using music and movement in the classroomas well as how to effectively use music and movement in your own classroom.  *Please read the article prior toattending the session and be prepared to "Get Up and Sing!  Get Upand Move!"*

Trainer Bio

Breanna Tucker is a National Board Certified Teacherwho brings years of experience as a classroom teacher.  Before moving toBeijing, Breanna taught first grade in a large, diverse school district justoutside Washington, D.C.  She also served as a mentor for pre-serviceteachers and was a coach to first year teachers.  Breanna holds a Master'sDegree in Elementary Education with a specialization in Early ChildhoodEducation from West Virginia University.  She enjoys working with bothstudent learners and adult learners.

Please doNOT wait in the visa applicant line.Please wait in line by the RED sign saying “For ACS services,please enter here.” at the East Gate of the embassy.
