主要内容:


K2,海拔8611米,又称“乔戈里峰”,世界第二高峰,位于中国和巴控克什米尔边界。K2每年有2000-3000名徒步游客,2017年有约130名中国游客。2017年8月至9月,由中国、巴基斯坦、塔吉克斯坦三国30名旅友从K2山脚下出发,开展“清洁K2”活动。


 


讲座将带你分享“清洁K2”活动的过程,探讨人类活动对高海拔地区的影响及应对,领略被称为世界尽头K2沿线震撼的美景,也将讲述关于巴基斯坦人文风俗和《三杯茶》里科尔飞村的故事

 


Contents:


K2 also known as Chhogori, is the second highest mountain in the world at 8,611 meters above sea level. It’s located in the border of China and Kashmir under the administration of Pakistan. There are around 2,000 – 3,000 tourists to K2 for trekking annually, about 130 among them were from China in 2017. From August to September 2017, 30 travelers from China, Pakistan and Tajikistan started trekking from a village at the foot of K2 for the “Clean-up K2” Project.


This talk will share the process of “Clean-up K2” Project, discuss human impact and solutions to high altitude areas, show the stunning landscape of K2 known as “The end of the world”, and also tell stories about Pakistani cultural customs and the Korphe village in the book of “Three Cups of Tea”.


讲者简介:赵中,甘肃民间环保组织绿驼铃的发起人,自2002年起一直从事民间环保工作。2015-16年作为汉弗莱奖学金获得者在美国加州大学戴维斯分校访问,学习方向是自然资源管理。同时热爱户外运动,曾攀登过玉珠、阿尔金、桑丹康桑等西部高海拔山峰,也曾参加过全国滑雪登山赛、山地户外挑战赛等赛事。


Speaker:  Zhao Zhong is the founder of Green Camel Bell, a grass-root environmental NGOs in Gansu Province. He has worked in civil environmental protection for 16 years. From 2015 to 16, as a Hubert H. Humphrey fellow he completed a year study at the University of California, Davis on Natural Resources Management. As an outdoor sports enthusiast, he has climbed several high altitude mountains in western China and also participated in National Ski Mountaineering Competition and Mountain Outdoor Challenge

交通:地铁10号,亮马桥站B出口,向东北步行至天泽路和安家楼路交汇处, 签证处北侧。 
Directions: Metro Line 10, Liangmaqiao Station Exit B, walk northeast to the Tian Ze Road intersection of An Jia Lou Road, north side of the Visas Office.
