“ 大家好，我是悉尼新起点雅思的Alex老师，今天为大家讲解一下剑桥雅思10里的四篇大作文。剑桥雅思一直是备考雅思的“风向标”，今天通过这4篇最新作文题目，我们来看看雅思大作文的一些“变化”与“坚持”。”

Test 1:

It is important for children to learn the difference between right and wrong at an early age. Punishment is necessary to help them to learn this distinction. To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion? What sort of punishment should parents and teachers be allowed to use to teach good behaviour to children?

Test 2:

Some people think that all university students should study whatever they like. Others believe that they should only be allowed to study subjects that will be useful in the future, such as those related to science and technology. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Test 3:

Countries are becoming more and more similar because people are able to buy the same products anywhere in the world. Do you think this is a positive or negative development?

Test 4:

Many museums charge for admission while others are free. Do you think the advantages of charging people for admission to museums outweigh the disadvantages?

A: 大作文不变的地方

下图是雅思大作文的3种类型和5种问题问法。可以看出，剑10里的4篇大作文问题并没有脱离传统的问法。同学们在备考时仍只需准备以下几种问题，特别要注意每种问题的不同点。

B: 大作文变化的地方

剑10里四篇大作文都是“Argumentation”类题目。这类题目向来是“大概率”事件，剑10所有大作文全部落入此类题目中，同学们需要更加提高重视了。“Argumentation”类的题目，顾名思义，即需要考生选择自己的立场，并在作文中向考官充分展现自己的立场。通俗来讲，这种题需要考生”选边儿儿“。

a) 在Test 1中，题干中论点为“为让孩子有正确的是非观，家长和老师有时需要惩罚孩子。”此题为”agree or disagree”题目，记住回答此类题目的要点：

Ø 表达自己的观点。此类题目不要求客观阐述他人观点（请勿使用类似some people think…while others…的话术）。所有的论点论据均来自于主观观点

Ø 说服性文章。此类文章的目的是用自己的观点说服(persuading)考官。这代表，在你选择“一边倒”时（即100%支持一方论点），不用阐述另一方论点（otherwise you are contradicting your opinion）

Ø 想象参加一场辩论赛，一旦你选择了正方（反方）后，只需说支持本方观点（即使你心中知道对方观点也有道理）

b) 在Test 2中，题目变成了”discuss+opinion”的类型，问题给出了AB选项，即“大学生应该学喜欢的专业”还是“学对今后发展有好处的专业”。仍然是“argumentation”类，但同学们务必要把此题与”agree or disagree”的题目区分开来。

Ø 首先客观阐述两方观点 (discuss both views)

Ø 再给出自己的观点(give your own opinion)

在写作之前，同学们应该首先确定自己的立场。通常来说，情况有以下三种：

Ø 100% A （一边倒）

Ø 100% B （一边倒）

Ø 50/50 A&B（两边倒）

通过下面的提纲，我给大家展示一下怎么处理“discuss+opinion”的题目，我的观点是一边倒：大学生应该选择自己喜欢的专业。

Paragraph 1: (Introduction). It has been argued that whether college students should choose subjects that they like or subjects that will benefit their future career. In my opinion, I strongly believe that teenagers should choose majors out of their genuine interests.

Paragraph 2: Reasons why teenagers should choose subjects that will be useful in the future. (不是自己观点，使用第三人称)

a. Some people believe that to find a decent job is the main reason for college studies.

b. They also believe that in order to survive in today’s competitive job market, students need to “think ahead” by choosing the subjects which will maximise their job opportunities in the future.

Paragraph 3: Reasons why teenagers should choose subjects which they really like. (自己观点，使用第一人称)

a. I believe that interests is the best motive to do things.

b. If the purpose of study is to find jobs, there are various occupational courses and trainings which help young people to find jobs in no time.

Paragraph 4: Conclusion

c) Test 3, test 4都是“利弊类”题目，同样需要同学们给出自己的立场，处理方法与“agree or disagree”题型类似。

总结：从剑１０指明的方向可以看出，”argumentation”类的作文仍然是备考的重中之重。同学们一定要能够区别出不同问题的操作方法，并保证在自己的文章清晰的表达出了自己的观点和立场。
