北京美国中心荣幸呈献由《臥虎藏龍》获奖制片人制片，鄭伯昱导演并主演的《满月酒》。鄭伯昱先生本人将亲临现场向大家介绍电影并回答相关问题。电影中，鄭伯昱饰演的Danny是一位美籍华人，他和他的伴侣Tate想通过代孕有个孩子。当他们的计划被Danny在台北传统的母亲得知后并试图控制一切的情况下变得复杂了。《满月酒》根据鄭伯昱同志的亲身经历改编，揭示了同志家庭的跨文化问题。影片制片为徐立功，影星歸亞蕾将饰演母亲。
影片将在美国驻上海，广州领事馆同步放映。放映后导演兼主演鄭伯昱将用英文和中文回答大家的问题。

From the Oscar-Winning producer of “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” 《臥虎藏龍》, the Beijing American Center proudly presents the movie “Baby Steps.” The movie’s director and lead actor, Barney Cheng (鄭伯昱), will be coming to the Beijing American Center to introduce the movie and answer questions about it afterward. In the movie, Barney Cheng plays Danny, a Chinese-American man who wants to have a baby through surrogacy with his partner, Tate. Their journey becomes more complicated when Danny’s traditional mother finds out and ends up controlling every aspect of the process, all the way from Taipei. Drawing on Barney Cheng’s own experiences as a gay man, “Baby Steps” explores cross-cultural issues surrounding the gay family. The film is produced by Li-Kong Hsu (徐立功), with a star performance by Ah-Leh Gua (歸亞蕾).
The film will be simultaneously screened at the U.S. consulates in Shanghai and Guangzhou, followed by a Q&A session in English and Chinese led by Barney Cheng, the Lead Actor and Director of “Baby Steps.”
This event does not require RSVP. Children’s age must be over 16 years old for this program.
