伦敦泰晤士河边的新年烟火庆典活动是全球最知名的跨年活动之一，每年吸引无数人前往。考虑到参加人数众多可能导致的不安全因素，主办方从去年起开始对烟花庆典开放售票，限制人数以提供更美好的活动体验。今年，伦敦市政府（Mayor of London）更是跟联合国儿童基金会（UNICEF）合作，从10月2日中午12点开始正式发售门票。

每张门票10镑（没有任何学生或者长者优惠），一个人最多购买四张，且购票证件要与身份证件一致。预售票分成4个区域，如果是成群结队前往，买票时，务必和自己的同伴选择同一个区域，因为你买票时选了块地方就只能在那片区域观看，且不能更改！

RED AREA tickets cover the stretch of the Embankment from Embankment Underground station to Temple Underground Station, which can only be accessed from the north side of the river Thames (the side opposite to the Coca-Cola London Eye).

WHITE AREA tickets provide access to Westminster Bridge, which can only be reached via the south side of the river Thames.

GREEN AREA tickets cover the area behind the Coca-Cola London Eye, which can only be reached via the south side of the river Thames.
