上班要早到，但应有的放矢
通常新员工都想每天第一个到公司，但早到的这段时间你怎么利用呢？整理思绪？处理邮件？
其实，你还倒不如做些大家都能看得见的事。比如，试一下能否解决大家前一天还没处理好的问题。或者帮大家设置好各种事务，让人一来到可以更好地开展工作。
如果你最早来，最迟走，但只是帮大家开灯关灯的话，那还是正常上下班吧。
超越标准
仅仅是符合标准是不能让你脱颖而出的，无论标准多么难达到。
要求自己做得比标准更好则应该是你的常态。比如，给大家建立一种印象——你总是立即反应、不断跟进、第一时间高效完成工作的员工，给人一种靠谱的感觉。很多同事工作没有激情时，成为提升士气的开心果。
私下用业余时间做些份外事
出色完成上头安排的任务，那是应分的，大家也不会因此对你另眼相看。但新员工若能完成一些对公司有益的份外事，比如一个自己制定的业余项目，就能让你增色不少。
比如，你进入公司一段时间以后，尝试写一本给新员工用的新手指南，让他们可以快速上手，打算放在公司的内网。写完后，可能有些经理对此赞不绝口，但也有可能因为人力资源部并不赏脸，让整件事不了了之。但你可能从此就被人记住了，因为你做了对公司有用的份外事。下次有什么流程业务的改革，大家第一个找的就是你——而这都是因为你之前多想了一些，多做了一些。
比如，你可以试一下和客户接触时，用上新的流程或服务。客户可能就会欣赏这一点并记住你了，因为他们并没有这样要求，而且你也更好地满足了他们的需求。
少说多做
很多人喜欢夸夸而谈。很少人会在指出问题后以行动解决。
比如说你发现一个项目出了很大问题，你会仅仅是指出其错误之处，给所有人展示你有多聪明吗？还是直接着手解决问题更能得到大家的认可？发现问题不难，解决问题的人才能脱颖而出。
展示你独特性格的一面
个人兴趣爱好是你重要的特点，可以帮助别人记起你，共同爱好还可以联络感情。对于一名职场小鲜肉，在竞争中这是很大的优势。
但个人爱好不要过于光芒四射，甚至把自己的职业能力都遮盖住。你“喜欢跑马拉松”是没问题，但如果变成“老是在训练而且到不同国家参加比赛让人老找不着”就不行了。在这方面，你需要做的是让别人大概知道你的兴趣爱好，或者一些生活上的细节、偏好，以增加你的职业形象的深度，也使你更讨人喜欢。
比任何人都努力
勤劳没有代替品。你可以不断提高你的效率，更聪明地工作，但这也代理不了勤奋工作——最好是两者兼有。
