We are now recruiting for a Mandarin Speaking assistant Production Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an innovative Product design and Sales company, who are market leaders in their field. Based in Bedford, Beds.

-   Assist in creating product ranges from early brainstorming through to design and specification

-   Sourcing manufacturers, production, pricing and delivery, and sales

-   Study trade press and provide any relevant information to Product Manager

-   Check and monitor stock movement and assist with forecasting

-   To regularly run computer reports as required

-   Stock control

-   Communicate with suppliers

-   Create special sales / promotional material

-   Co-ordinate product training and general introduction of new products

-   Create smooth product presentations to customers

-   Contribute to trade shows and marketing activity

-   Obtain and collate relevant certification and approvals on products

-   Complete New Product Introduction forms as required, updating product specifications and updating product information on computer system

-   Proof reading product specification sheets

-   Manage product file records and processes

-   Computer literate - especially of MS Excel and PowerPoint packages

-   Good communicator, both written and verbal with excellent numeracy

-   Accurate and attention to detail

-   Able to communicate and implement new ideas across the business

-   Confident in taking a leading role in meetings, both internal and external

-   Graduate in either Business Studies and/or Marketing

-   Qualifications in electronics useful

-   Must be able to speak and write Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)

-   Qualified driver

This is full-time permanent position and offering an attractive salary of up to £18,000 to £20,000 plus company benefits
