To establish Thomson Reuters as the partner of choice for Chinese organisations outside Asia as they expand in the global market, and develop the offshore Chinese business opportunity.  

-  Enhance the Thomson Reuters corporate China strategy to support Chinese firms in the global market, in close collaboration with GGO China

-  Establish and grow the community of Chinese organizations operating internationally and lead strategic efforts to connect Thomson Reuters with this community

-  Establish Thomson Reuters as the thought leader on the China subject, specifically the RMB internationalization

-  Lead engagement with both internal and external stakeholders through active participation in events, conferences, seminars, etc.

-  Responsible for developing strategic relationships with other Chinese focused organizations such as banks and financial firms in main financial hubs outside Asia

-  Work closely with the marketing team for the development of strategic marketing collateral, leveraging both regional and business unit capabilities

-  Engage directly with customers, market participants, partners and internal stakeholders to validate proposition needs and opportunities for relevant segments, in close collaboration with GGO China and the Go To Market teams on the ground

-  Responsible for market and product / proposition development to effectively retain existing clients and expand our offerings in new areas

-  Lead a virtual team to best support and serve Chinese organizations operating outside China in the global market and drive profitable growth across the complete Thomson Reuters proposition

-  Native Chinese speaker with excellent English

-  Deep Chinese market understanding

-  Strong knowledge of financial market particularly in RMB markets across FX, Commodities and FI

-  Strong understanding of international business and Chinese culture with excellent market connections

-  Deep-rooted networks within the international Chinese business community especially in the UK

-  Hold an extensive and high-level network with Chinese financial institutions, Chinese sovereign wealth funds and Chinese family offices that are looking to invest into the global Market

-  Excellent people management, engagement and strong relationship management skills

-  Experience working in a matrixed organization

-  Knowledge of Thomson Reuters Competitors
