We are looking for an ambitious and sharp, legal in-house counsel to join The Culture Trip. You will be a key point of contact within both the commercial, editorial, sales, marketing and technology teams.

-   You will work closely with the CEO, COO, FD, VP Sales, Editor-in-Chief and HR 

-   Review, negotiate, advise upon and draft a variety of contracts such as commercial and technology agreements, suppliers / vendors agreements, content (articles, video, TV) licensing agreements, trademark license agreements, terms and conditions, partnership agreements, e-commerce affiliates agreements

-   Provide legal guidance across the company and its various departments (commercial, editorial, sales, marketing and technology teams) 

-   Lead on intellectual property-related legal matters: advising on copyright ownership, licensing (text, images, video), domain names and trademarks

-   Provide legal guidance on libel, defamation and other editorial laws under English laws

-   Provide company secretarial services

-   Research legal issues as and when required

-   3 years of relevant legal experience in-house and/or law firm, in digital media and/or technology sectors

-   Qualified solicitor with experience of UK / EU / US law

-   Law degree from a top college is required

-   Fluent English written and spoken (fluency in Mandarin would be an asset)

-   IPR, licencing, e-com and experience with commercial contracts are necessary

-   Some experience in M&A would be welcome

-   Affinity with global culture and media is a bonus
