英语学者项目（English Language Fellow Program）由美国国务院资助，美国驻华大使馆地区英语项目办公室负责运行。该项目为期10个月，旨在选派美国具有应用语言学或英语作为第二语言/外语硕士学位、且有多年英语学工作经验的学者，赴中国高等院校教授英语课程、开展英语师资培训，与此同时加深对中国文化和教育的了解。2017/18学年，共有13位英语学者被选派到中国高校任教。目前，2018/19学年，即2018年9月至2019年6月的项目已开始接收申请。感兴趣的中国高等院校请通过美国驻华大使馆地区英语项目办公室或美国驻华总领事馆了解详细信息。

TheRegional English Language Office is now accepting proposals for EnglishLanguage Fellows program for Academic Year 2018-2019. 

TheEnglish Language Fellow Program,funded by U.S. Department of State sends U.S. educators in the field ofTeaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) to participate inten-month exchanges abroad at host country universities, ministries ofeducation, and other educational institutions around the world. EnglishLanguage Fellows share their expertise and engage with thecommunity, while participating in a professional development opportunity.Upon returning to the United States, they share their experiences and acquiredknowledge with their communities and professional colleagues. On average, 150EL Fellows take part in the program yearly in over 80 countries.Thirteen universities in China will host English Language Fellows for the2017/2018 academic year. The program is open for proposals for academic year2018/19.
