2：大多数残疾人组织将不再得到其工作的支持。

3：他们的需求没有办法包括在新系统的设计（因为大多数影响残疾人的项目都是在大奥克兰区域，而不是在部分地区）

4：奥克兰市议会内不会有与残疾人专科有关的访问或求助的渠道。

There are currently two Disability Advisors inAuckland Council. They are the only staff in the whole of Auckland Councilincluding its CCOs who are solely dedicated to working with disabilitycommunity and providing specialist disability input to council.

· There will be noprovision of regional community development for the disability community.

· Most disabilityorganisations will no longer be supported in their work (since they workregionally, not by local board).

· there will be no wayfor disabled people to be involved in making sure that their needs are includedin the design of new systems (since most of the important projects that affectdisabled people are Auckland Wide, rather than at local board level).

· Disabled people willnot have a disability specialist within Auckland Council to contact aboutaccess issues.

· The valuable networksthat the Disability Advisors have built up will be lost.

You can help by:

1. Signing and sharingthis petition.

2. Writing to the Mayorof Auckland, Len Brown and to your Ward Councillor and Local Board. Tell them we want to Save the Auckland CouncilDisability Advisors and keep working with the disability community at a regionallevel.

3. Writing to your localnewspaper.
