About The Role

Looking for a new challenge and to join a very international team crazy about education? We are a fast-growing consultancy firm focused on recruiting international students to the UK. We are looking for somebody to join our accounting team in a role that has good potential for future promotion.

You Will

• Manage cash flow and bank transactions, including posting cash to Access, reconciling the bank accounts, maintaining the bank spreadsheets, processing weekly purchase ledger payment runs and sending BACs and CHAPs through the banking software seeking authorisation for every payment

• Assist the Senior Accountant with the preparation of the Financial Statements

• Assist the Senior Accountant with annual audits

• Reconcile and file online statutory returns and statistic data as required including monthly Sales, quarterly VAT returns and PAYE submissions

• Liaise with external accounting company

• Assist with any ad-hoc tasks that may arise

• Liaise with Senior Management team to ensure that all accounting transactions are processed correctly in a timely and professional manner and relay issues back to the Director

You Are

• Educated to HNC/Degree level or equivalent in an accounting or finance discipline
  

• Qualified Accounting Technician or able to demonstrate ability through experience

• Able to use spreadsheets and other similar ledger systems at an avanced level

• A person with excellent organisation, time management and team work skills

• Willing to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Able to learn quickly, develop processes, manage change and adapt quickly to new situations &software

• Mandarin Chinese speaking

• Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience. Minimum overall package of £22,000.
