This program will be conducted in English.
Do you know the classic children’s fairy tale about Rapunzel, the girl who was trapped in a tower by an evil witch and was saved by a prince who climbs up the tower using Rapunzel’s long, golden hair? Do you want to meet the actress who will play Rapunzel on stage in Beijing later this year? Would you like to get involved producing or acting in plays for the Beijing Playhouse?
Please join us at the Beijing American Center for a screening of “Tangled,” the Disney movie about Rapunzel. The actress who plays Rapunzel for the Beijing Playhouse will come dressed in her costume, introduce the movie, and discuss the upcoming children’s theater production of Rapunzel. Find out from real actors what it’s like to perform on stage! You’ll also learn how you or your child can audition to be an actor in the Beijing Playhouse’s upcoming production of “A Christmas Carol,” which is the largest locally-produced English play in China.
