2017加拿大滑铁卢费玛数学竞赛喜报

2017年2月24日，长春市实验中学加拿大高中27名高二学生参加了费玛(Fermat）竞赛。

2.24, 2017, Grade 11 students of Sino-Canadian High School took the Fermat Math Competition which is held by University of Waterloo.

高二7名学生在费玛竟赛中获奖，分别为张琴（124分），付宇（118分）苑楚晨（118分）赵奕嵩（112分）姜伊潼（109分）王毅凡（109分）王嘉俊（108分），本次获奖分数线为104分。

加拿大滑铁卢数学竞赛为张主任于2011年引入我校，费玛数学竞赛是国家级的国际数学竞赛,它们与HYPATIA，GALOIS数学竞赛属于同一系列赛事，每年2月举办一次。这个竞赛由加拿大国家计算机和数学教育中心举办，主要针对高二年级的学生，满分为150分。其成绩在加拿大大学中被广泛认可，被誉为“数学托福”考试。该竞赛也已经成为世界一流大学尤其是滑铁卢数学学院各专业以及“软件工程”专业入学录取的重要指标，更是学生申请大学有利竞争优势尤其是该学院奖学金的重要考核标准。

Fermat Math Competition is internationally held in February once a year, its national level competitions of Canada. As the same level as Hypatia Math Competition and Galois Math Competition. This competition is organized by the Center for Education in Mathematics and Computing and the main participants are Students of Grade 10. The full score is 150.These competition is known as TOFEL in Math due to its significance in Canadian universities. And these competition is also important reference for students who apply for scholarships and mathematics and software engineering of the University of Waterloo and other top universities all over the world.
