Mandarin Speaking Gallery Assistants are responsible for ensuring that exceptional client service is delivered to internal & external clients throughout Chinese Art Week (From Friday 5 to Friday 12 May 2017) whilst adhering to Christie's Client Service Standards.

(Duties include but are not limited to the following)

·To locate sale property in the viewing space in order to direct clients effectively

·To ensure all items on view are safe, secure and accounted for at all times

·To ensure the salerooms are always at the highest standard of cleanliness

·To assist Client Service staff with translating Christie's procedures to clients (e.g. creating a new account, registering to bid, how to pay etc)

·To support the Client Services Department at the Front Desk, cloakroom and catalogue stock room

·Other duties as assigned by Client Service Supervisors

·Ability to reflect the image and standards of Christie's in all situations in accordance with Client Service Standards

·BA/BS or comparable working experience in client service preferred

·Excellent communication & team playing skills

·Willingness to accept assignments with positive attitude

·Confident demeanour & excellent personal presentation

·Commitment to punctual attendance and excellent time keeping

·Flexible working hours, including evening and weekend

·Fluency in Mandarin and English
