Teacher Markus的吸睛大法


今天,我要向大家隆重介绍卡尔加里幼儿园中三班的外籍教师——Teacher Markus。


Today, I would like to introduce the Foreign teacher of Middle Class 3 of Calgary Kindergarten, he is Teacher Markus.

百变多样的他,总是能引起孩子们的尖叫追逐。为什么他如此受欢迎?因为他有吸睛大法!


吸睛大法第一式:Markus English Dollars。

没错,就是钱!


为了吸引孩子们的兴趣,激发孩子们的主动性和自觉性,机智的Teacher Markus“发行”自己的纸币。五个贴纸可以换一元Markus纸币,存在自己的银行金库里,存够一定数量就可以兑换礼物。


He has so many different looks, which can always attract children’s attention. Why is he so popular in the school? Because he has eye-catching ideas.

The first one is Markus English Dollars

That is right! It is money!


To arouse children’s interest, inspire their enthusiasm and self-awareness, our smart teacher Markus created his own money which is called Markus Dollars. Children can use five stickers to earn one Markus Dollar, and put it in their own bank. They can use the money to buy gifts from teachers.

这下,孩子们来劲了!自觉的遵守班级公约,主动积极的参与各类活动。

The Markus Dollar has successfully caught children’s attention. They abide by the rules of class consciously and attend all kinds of activities actively to get Markus Dollars.

Markus纸币出现后,它不仅了激发孩子们的学习兴趣,以此同时,孩子们还学会了如何保护自己的财产,学会数数,学会理财......

Since the Markus Dollar was created, it has inspired children’s love of learning and at the same time it makes children learn how to protect their money, how to count and how to manage the money they have earned.


记得有天,我来接孩子的时候,看到孩子们都小心翼翼捧着自己的小手,手背上有个美丽的图案,开心极了。Teacher Markus得意地说:“一个纹身贴纸,十元Markus币,我亲手贴。”微信群里的家长们知道后,立刻沸腾起来了,直呼“太贵了!”“贴完纹身,钱袋子里只剩三张了!”于是,有些美妈开始搜索儿童理财绘本,开始关注和对孩子进行理财教育。可见,Markus纸币在奖励积分的同时,教师引导孩子不仅在于兑换愿望成功,更重要的是了激发孩子们的学习兴趣,培养孩子能力,例如:理财的能力、自我管理的能力、数学的能力……增长了智慧,获得成就感。


One day when I came to pick up my child, I saw the classroom protecting their hands carefully, underneath there was a paper tattoo, and they looked so happy! Teacher Markus told me that this paper tattoo was pasted by him, it cost 10 Markus Dollars for one tattoo. When the parents heard about this, they were chatting it up on WeChat and thought it was way too expensive. Haha! There were a few dollars left, so the parents started searching books about property management suitable for children and wanted to teach them how to manage their money. In a result of Markus Dollar award system, it is not only to earn the gift, but also arouse their interests at learning, which develops their abilities with items such as property management, self-discipline, and math. It has enriched children’s wisdom and makes them feel proud of what they have achieved.


吸睛大法第二式:画脸。

在卡尔加里幼儿园的八大好习惯培养中有团队精神这一项。未来社会,团队合作是孩子必顺具备的素质,这种精神,一定要在孩子小的时候就要进行培养。那么,如何培养孩子的团队合作精神呢?继Markus纸币之后,Teacher Markus又放大招了——画脸。在活动中,为激励孩子们的团队合作能力,让他们团结一致,为了一个共同的目标而努力,并为他们的团队赢得足够的分数,那么这个团队的孩子有五秒的时间在Teacher Markus脸上画画。wow!对于孩子们来说,这实在是太有趣了!为了能赢取这样的奖励,孩子们积极表现,努力为小组夺分。


The second one is drawing on the teacher’s face.

One habit of our 8 habits teaching system is Cooperation. This is one key character the children need to know is how to cooperate with each other in class. Teacher Markus created an idea which was to how to get to draw on the teachers’ face award. In this award system, it needs children to work together as a team and reach a common goal. If their team reached their goal successfully, each of them would have 5 seconds to draw on teachers’ face. Wow! That was so exciting for children! To win this award, they worked well with each other in a team and worked hard together to earn enough scores for the award.

经过孩子们精心打扮的Teacher Markus闪亮登场,我们中方老师也享受了同等的待遇~

朋友们一定很羡慕我们中三班有那么好的外籍教师吧,这是因为我们有一群热心支持老师、支持幼儿园工作的家长们。

Markus纸币可以兑换的礼物,一部分是家长捐献的,连出国旅游的妈妈都惦记着找礼物。


You must admire that we have such a great foreign teacher in our Middle Class 3. It is because parents of our class always support the Education work of the class and the school.

Some of the gifts for Markus Dollar award system are from parents. Parents who have traveled abroad, have passed on many gifts.



细心的妈妈发现了Teacher Markus给孩子们削笔,用的是最吃力的削笔器,送去了手摇卷笔刀。

One mother saw Teacher Markus sharpen pencils for class, but the sharpener didn’t work as well. So, the mother donated new sharpeners for the whole class.



后经家长们提议和投票决定,我们自主筹集了班级基金,用于支持老师们的教学活动。

So parents suggested to establish the class fund and all voted for it, which will be used for teaching materials. 


同时为协助班级开展区域活动,让孩子有动手操作学习的材料,家长们主动为班级区域制作教玩具;积极的参与幼儿园各项活动,为幼儿园出一份力......类似这样的事,在中三班还有很多很多。我们知道,没有完美的幼儿园、没有完美的老师、没有完美的家长、没有完美的孩子。因此我们需要相互尊重、沟通、支持、帮助。我们认为,支持老师就是支持我们的孩子,帮助幼儿园就是促进幼儿园不断改善,迈向更高的平台,让孩子有更好的成长教育环境,受益的最终是我们的孩子。


To help teachers do the corner classes and get more practical materials for children, our parents have helped to make teaching resources and have actively participated in school activities. We have a lot of similar stories in all our classes. As we know that there is no perfect kindergarten, no perfect teachers, no perfect parents, only perfect children. Therefore, it is important to respect, communicate, support and help each other. We think that by helping to support our teachers it helps our children. Please, help our school improve and provide a better environment for all children, our children are our future.

孩子在成长,家长在成长,老师在成长,幼儿园也在不断的成长,我们互相扶持,长长的路、慢慢地走,愿彼此一路精彩!

Our children are always growing, so are the teachers and the school, we all want to help each other to make a better future for our students!
